Mylisa Mueller

Mylisa M. Mueller is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of advanced practice experience and over 24 years of combined nursing experience. She brings a strong background in family medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health to the team—offering both expertise and empathy to patients of all ages, especially women seeking a provider who understands their unique health needs.

Originally from Wisconsin, Mylisa began her nursing career in the ICU and emergency department after completing her RN at Blackhawk College. She relocated to Dallas in 2009 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She holds national certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is an active member of AANP, regularly updating her clinical knowledge through continuing education and hands-on practice.

With a deep commitment to education and prevention, Mylisa specializes in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol. She has a special passion for women’s health—offering services such as pap smears, birth control counseling, and management of postmenopausal symptoms with options like vaginal estrogen. For men, she provides testosterone therapy when appropriate. She also enjoys supporting patients on their weight loss journeys and creating practical, sustainable health plans tailored to each individual.

Mylisa was drawn to advanced practice after seeing how many patients in the ICU lacked basic education about their chronic conditions. She felt called to meet people earlier in their health journey—offering knowledge, prevention, and proactive care at the clinic level. Today, she brings that passion to life by empowering her patients through education and long-term wellness planning.

Outside of the clinic, Mylisa enjoys traveling with her husband, camping, hiking, and attending baseball games—especially when she can visit a new stadium. She also cherishes time with her family. While she proudly calls Dallas home, don’t be surprised if she’s quietly cheering for the Green Bay Packers—feel free to let her know if you’re a secret fan too!
